Small-Scale Jet Engine
2022 - Ongoing
Myself and 20 others are working on getting our first small scale jet engine, DU1, up and working. With funds from the school we have been able to anything we've needed, such as metal and fuel. Cable Tension Calculator

Created a calculator that would compute tension, cost, and local sentiment for installing a suspended wind turbine in subsaharan Africa in Google Sheets. The user inputs their cable anchor locations and height of their wind turbine, and the spreadsheet outputs if the cable tension is over spec & the total cost. Glide Slope Calculator
2022
Completely designed and simulated a glide slope indicator for pilots in Logisim. Acts as a true IFLOLS system with correct wave-off implementation.
Inputs horizontal & vertical velocity from a sensor and outputs the pilots glide slope relative to the given expected glide slope.
